![]() ![]() Okay! For arguments' sake, let's entertain this theory. This isn't made to incite fire and is just a prediction. If it breaks the rules, please let me know. Because of the delay of 20.9, that's what makes me think they might skip 20.9 altogether. Also, if they had have not skipped from 20.1 to 20.5 they would've been stuck to release FL Studio 21 a year after 20.9 (based on the fact that they release new versions about every 6 months) so I guess they decided to skip to 20.5 so they could release it on December 2021 (maybe they knew they would be ready by then). If you look at their release schedule, you can see that every second update is on December (May, December, July, December, April, December). The reason why is because December is not only a good time to release a new product/update, but is also the reason why they skipped from 20.1 to 20.5. So my only guess, based on how long we've been stuck on 20.8 for, is that FL Studio will skip 20.9 and release FL Studio 21 on December of this year. I then saw this pattern (7, 7, 5, 5, 8) on the release date so I tried seeing if I could do that to my advantage but once again, it didn't work (8 months after December 2020 is August 2021). I then got the average of the intervals and although that worked for FL Studio 21 (saying that it would be released January 2022), it didn't work for 20.9 (saying that it would be released June - July 2021). But that also didn't really work as it inferred that FL Studio 21 would be released on November 2021 (only a month away). Then I got the number of the releases (6) and divided it by the number of predicted versions (8) which meant we were 75% of the way to FL Studio 21. Here is the information on the intervals between each release:Ģ0.0 – 20.1 = 7 months (May 2018 - December 2018)Ģ0.1 – 20.5 = 7 months (December 2018 - July 2019)Ģ0.5 – 20.6 = 5 months (July 2019 - December 2019)Ģ0.6 – 20.7 = 5 months (December 2019 - April 2020)Ģ0.7 – 20.8 = 8 months (April 2020 - December 2020)Īt first, I tried thinking of 20.5 as a halfway mark because they jumped from 20.1 to 20.5, but that would mean that FL Studio 21 would've been released on September 2020. ![]() I wanted to know when FL Studio 20.9 and FL Studio 21 would be released so I tried finding it out myself based on how long it has taken them for previous versions.
